Privato

A completely new and "private" version of our Groppello wine.

The vineyards are located on steep mountain slopes overlooking the Lake of Santa Giustina in Val di Non. The manual harvest is around the third decade of October and the bunches are personally selected by the producer among the best rows of the year.

The winemaking is traditional in stainless steel tanks with frequent pumping over, the maturation lasts at least 12 months in new oak barrels.

Bottle aging continues for 4 months before marketing. The wine obtained is intense ruby red, the scent is spicy with hints of vanilla and in the mouth it is strong with a pleasant acidity and hints of pepper.

A limited number of bottles are produced and strictly handmade.

The recommended combination is with a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, with vegetable soups and with main courses of meat and game.
